Care Rehab Wins Virginia Business of the Year

Care Rehab and Orthopaedic Products, Inc. an industry leader of physical therapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation products announces its selection as the northern Virginia “Small Business Success Story of the Year” for 2005.

Care Rehab CEO, Christian Hunt, accepted the award at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia on behalf of Care Rehab. Care Rehab’s humble beginnings and investment in Charlotte County under the Governor’s Opportunity Fund were cited as key elements in its consideration and selection for this award.

“I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of our extraordinary employees. I also am especially thankful to the Charlotte County Administrator’s Office for the support they have consistently demonstrated in helping Care Rehab,” said Christian Hunt.

In 2003, Care Rehab was the recipient of a grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund and the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission which enabled it to locate its manufacturing, assembly and distribution operations in Charlotte County, Virginia.
