Avectra CEO and Team to Host “Office Treadmill Desk” Walk-a-Thon

WHAT:
Avectra, a leading web-based Social CRM provider in the association and not-for-profit market, will host a fundraiser with its CEO’s office treadmill desk playing a central role. Avectra staffers will each take a turn on Davis’ treadmill for 30 minutes to raise money for their selected charities. The participant with the highest number of counted steps will receive a bonus sum from Avectra for his or her charity of choice.
Selected charities include: SightLife, Foundation for Women’s Cancer, ASPCA, Reading Connection, March of Dimes, Delta Research & Educational Foundation, Millsaps College Fortenberry Endowment Scholarship, Safe Shores – The DC Children’s Advocacy Center, Walk the Walk Foundation, Capital Area Foodbank, American Cancer Society, Heifer International, National Audubon Society, Foundation for Fighting Blindness, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, Wounded Warriors, and Year Up Foundation.
The fundraiser coincides with the release of new fundraising functionality in Avectra’s Social CRM software.
